Each location gets its own holiday calendar, and copying one to another is a single click. Day Off's users complain specifically that holidays have to be re-entered per location.

Half days and a weekend that is actually yours
Saturday and Sunday in the US, Friday and Saturday across the Gulf and Egypt, or any pair you like. Hardcoding Sat/Sun is an instant disqualifier for a MENA team, so nothing here assumes it.

Hiring four people does not change the invoice
Per-seat pricing quietly penalises growth. A forty-person team on a competitor's accrual tier pays around $160 a month; the same team here is $59, and stays $59 at forty-four.

How this compares
The honest version. We are not the simplest tool in this category and we do not try to be.
| Vacation tracking software | Typical | PTODesk |
|---|---|---|
| Cost at 40 employees | About $160/mo | $59/mo flat |
| Cost after hiring 4 more | Goes up | Unchanged |
| Holiday calendar per office | Re-entered manually | Copied in one click |
| Weekend configuration | Often Sat/Sun only | Any two days |
| Half-day requests | Sometimes unsupported | Either end of a range |
Questions
How does flat pricing work when we grow?
Each plan covers a headcount band — 25, 75 or 200. Within a band nothing changes when you hire. Crossing a band moves you up a tier, and we prompt rather than lock you out of your own records.
Can we run different holidays for different offices?
Yes. Holiday calendars attach to locations, employees attach to a location, and a calendar can be copied between locations in one action instead of re-typed.
Do public holidays count against someone's allowance?
No. Holidays on the employee's own location calendar are excluded from the working-day count automatically, and the request preview shows which ones it skipped.
