Reminders in each person's own timezone

A 9am nudge means 9am where they are, not 9am at head office. Reminders are guarded so a DST fall-back cannot send the same one twice.

Nobody has to remember to check

Sara requested 4 days — approve or deny Slack now
Your request for 1–4 Sep was approved Email 2 min ago
Reminder: 2 requests are waiting on you Slack 9:00
3 people are off next week Teams Mon

Reminders fire at 9am in each person's own timezone.

Holidays and weekends per location

A closed office is not an absence. Location calendars and a configurable working week mean attendance reporting does not flag a public holiday as a missing day.

Head office · New York US federal 11 days
Austin US federal + TX 12 days

Holidays never count against a leave request.

How this compares

The honest version. We are not the simplest tool in this category and we do not try to be.

Questions

Is this a time clock?

No. It tracks planned and recorded absence — leave, sickness, holidays — rather than clock-in and clock-out. Hours can be imported when a state sick-leave policy needs them for accrual.

Can we see historical absence patterns?

Yes, month by month, and exported per pay period. Because every change is a ledger entry, historical reports do not shift when someone edits a policy today.

How do notifications reach the team?

Slack and email, with a generic incoming-webhook field for Microsoft Teams. The Teams integration is notification-only and we say so plainly rather than implying interactive approvals.
